SITE PLANNING AND ANALYSIS
Resolving fundamental overall site layout issues relating to land uses, existing structures, landforms, planting, and circulation patterns, is an important initial phase for every project. Walker Landscapes provide a ‘masterplanning’ service to resolve these issues, from quick sketch concepts through to 3D CAD planning solutions. This initial site analysis and planning process will help to focus on the key requirements expected of a site and how these can be met.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
The preliminary design is developed to illustrate the size and character of the entire project. Design sketches, layout plans, planting plans and detailed construction drawings are produced in sufficient detail for the client to understand the circulation, spatial design, vegetation concept, surfaces, and materials.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTATION AND ADMINISTRATION
Walker Landscapes prepares all documents as required for specifying materials and processes in working drawings; calling, obtaining and reporting on tenders; cost estimates, preparing documents for council consents, co-ordinating other consultants and carrying out the general administration of the contract.
